Babyface
03:58
|
|||
Satchitanda, Satchitanada!
You are the Author of all works
You have become the Universe!
Grace unveils my eyes to see
That, oh my God!, You have become me!
Satchidatada!
Rain soaked slug is in my path
He’s gone out for a sun bath
I blow soflty on his skin
In this crazy game only love can win.
Don’t throw rocks at a babyface
Our hatred will destroy this race.
Nothing is outside It.
Infinite worlds describe It.
No pithy tongue can name It
And nothing can contain It!
I’m swimming in Him like a fish called wanda
And all that I see is Satchitananda
Inside, outside, just the same
it’s the Cosmic Dreamer lost in the game
Of the universe, the endless dream
of the formless One who forms all things
Evolving at His own pace
Masquerading as the human race
But mace forms a thick coat in our eyes
Duality fashions a wardrobe of lies
ignorance of the shining Truth
Creates the conception of me and you
Its true, but there’s another side
Where duality is just a lie
And concepts pop like sizzling bacon
The veil is lifted and we awaken!
Don’t throw rocks at a babyface
Our hatred will destroy this race
Don’t throw rocks at baby skin
in this crazy game only love can win
Satchitananda!
Rain soaked flower has bloomed to see
That everything is Thee
o yea, o yea!

The Fee of Gravity
04:12
|
|||
They wear their suits and ties and grin
So damn determined to win
But they do not control the key
That makes every galaxy spin, and spin, and spin.
They build their pipes and electric lights
Read the news on plane flights
But they do not control the day,
Cause it to come or pass away
The fee of gravity
Will pull you down to the ground, hey!
If you’re the king gonna die anyway.
You think you’re the shit cause your in control
But your nothing but a pile of dinosaur bones
Like a dog without a home
Without love you will roam and roam.
You will come down, you will see how
The fee of gravity
Will pull you down to the ground, hey!
If you’re the queen gonna die anyway
You think you’re the shit cause your in control
But your nothing but a pile of dinosaur bones
Like a necklace without a bust
Without love you will rust and rust.
No point is above another in a circle, in a circle.
Red and blue need each other to make purple, to make purple.
No point is above another in a circle.
Gravity's now pulling me down
but its the cup lifting me up.
When will I become That which I worship?
When will I love, love as I must?
Resurrect That which was crushed?
And pay the fee, pay the fee, of gravity?
One day, one day, you will pay
The fee of gravity.

Iron Bunny
04:47
|
|||
They will cage you with rage
If you’re a dreamer.
They will make prison bars out of the sky.
I can turn invisible and dissolve the world, the world!
They will bake you a cake and make you eat it.
They will cut off your toes one at a time.
I can turn invisible and dissolve the world
I can live a billion lives and not live at all.
In the silence of the night
I rest in emptiness
I dream the poetry of Light.
I dwell in the windless place
I melt all of time and space
Where pain of contradictions collide.
And they cannot destroy me
You cannot destroy me
They cannot destroy me there.
Iron bunny
Hopping in me
Soft and fuzzy
But indestructible.
Iron bunny
Who could say please?
This is Your dream
You do what you like.
And they cannot destroy me
You cannot destroy me
They cannot destroy me there.
I dwell in windless place
I melt all of time and space
Where pain of contradictions collide.
They will give you a pat if you surrender
Into hell they will sell your soul for a dime.
I can turn invisible and dissolve the world, the world.

The Windmills of Kansas
03:39
|
|||
Spiraling leaf catches a sunbeam
As it descends from the tree.
And I felt 25 years of hopes and fears
Drop like tears
On the wavy grave plains of the county line
I didn’t know nothing, but I knew just fine,
As the windmills of Kansas whispered songs Divine.
Marcel Proust sipped his fancy French tea
As I looked into his eyes and I sat at his feet
And he said, “I don’t create,
I simply reflect what’s already great.”
And he turned into mist like a bubble that popped
And all cognition stopped.
The Creator’s dream unfolding
As galaxies exploding
A trillion words can’t show ya
My heart is a supernova.
All my life I’ve dragged this weight
Of the image I fight to protect
But the heart rebels till it claims its land
Till the True Mind resurrects.
My heart is a supernova!
Spiralin’ leaf catches a sunbeam
As it descends from the tree.
And I felt 25 years of hopes and fears
Drop like tears
On the flowing black snake of the state highway
I gave up the past, but I gained Today
As the windmills of Kansas washed my sins away.

Stacks of books and teary eyes
Mother Raven outside flies.
From the depths of my deep gloom
She speaks softly inside of my room.
Leave your books and lets go fly
Into the womb of the starry night
Leave all of your fear behind
The universe is just a jive!
Mother Raven flying high
Swift and free through the starry sky
Swoops her wings and dips them low
From my window I grab them and go
On a journey across the Earth
Oceans pass like a good desert
So fast I forget there’s a future or past
Just colors and the smell of grass
Nothing to begin, no race to win
Beyond goodness, beyond sin
No path is the path that I’m takin’
Chillin’ in the sky with Mother Raven.
Leave your books and lets go fly
Into the womb of the starry night
Leave all of your fear behind
The Universe is just a jive
God is a woman dancing for no reason in ecstasy
God is a baby playing with Itself for infinity.
Beyond why
Ravens fly
The Universe is just a jive.

They stich you a suit to parade around
As if the elixir were finally found
They build a casino and call it a town
A plastic smile hides a blubber frown.
But I was not born to condemn their jail
For fire on fire makes the fire wail
So much louder, and meaner.
I’m winged diamond that was born to fly
And I wont let my spirit die
Because they lie
Because they lie to me.
They say success is what life’s about
Christmas card kids and the marble house
And I aint saying they should be ignored
It just aint the reason that I was born.
I went to the church feeling hunger vast
But I couldn’t fill my belly with the stained glass
Or the hackneyed words of the preacher
Dimly heard from the bleachers
And I went to the market where the goods are sold
But the money and the jewels couldn’t ease my soul
So I bowed down in ash and tears and cried,
“Where is this wonder
That I cannot find?”
But the Spirit said softly
“Just open your eyes.”
He said:
“Don’t let the system steal your fun
You were born to surf the sun
The obstacle you think you see
Is itself Infinity!”
“Where is this wonder
That I cannot find?”
But the Spirit whispered softly
“Let go of your mind!”
He said:
“Don’t let the system steal your fun
You were born to surf the sun
The energy youve used to hate
You must use now to create!“

Brother hawk, perched atop the tall tree
I saw you watching, I saw you watching me
Brother hawk, flying on the soft breeze
I saw you crying, crying for everything.
Brother hawk, upon my knees I told you
I am so sorry, sorry for all the things we do.
Brother Hawk, I asked you to forgive me
When I saw you crying, you took me flying.
Cities go by!
We pass em all, pass em all
Down the hall, watch em fall
Oceans go by!
We pass em all, pass em all
Through the squall, hear the call
People can fly!
But they never do, never do
Walls they can’t break through!
In my heart, I knew that I loved you
But sentiments do not free
Greed and hatred haunted me.
But Brother Hawk, I asked you to forgive me
When I saw you crying, you took me flying.
Cities go by!
We pass em all, pass em all
Down the hall, watch em fall
Oceans go by!
We pass em all, pass em all
Through the squall, hear the call
People can fly!
But they never do, never do
They're never told to.
Brother hawk, I am not equal to you
With the wisdom that you prove with your silence
By your gaze, touching me, internal thrills unseen
But we have destroyed you with the violence
Of civilizations and competing nations
This insane asylum, torn and divided inside
But you're animal joy will rise
Like a flame and quell
All names with your nameless spell.

I’m on the grey hound, east bound
Passin’ town after town
Had me a subway, made my stomach sway
Guy next don’t return my greet
And our next stop is Nashville, Tennessee.
I thought, “How many grass blades are in the earth?
Or galaxies in the universe?”
Then a gal next to me said she lost her job
Would sell her soul for some corn on the cob.
Night is fallin’ and the wheels they turn
Even though I’m gone, man the memories burn
All my failures laughing at me
As we hit the brakes in Nashville, Tennessee.
Man, I feel so lonely here
But I open up my window to the stars and passin’ cars.
Man, I feel so lonely here
But I open up my window to the stars
And open my heart.
Nashville, awaken me
There’s no mistake in me
Nashville, awaken me
This is eternity!
Nothing can touch you
When you’re in love.
All things become you
When you’re in love.
And now I see only beauty
Junkies and bums become my body
Closer, look closer, and you will fall in love.
Nothing can touch me
When I’m in love!
I’m on the grey hound east bound passin’ town after town
North, south, east, west sun up to sun down
Wherever I go I’ma help the hurt
With a heart too big for my shirt.

Spreading out my hands to the mass with pleading eyes-
They are thirsty they are searching-
I speak to them the physics of the merciful
Of the gentle, of the Unsurpassable Dove Redeemer.
Like to Noah of old, he brought me an olive branch
In his guiless mouth and whispered,
“Jeffrey you will only gain what you are willing to lose,
What you are willing to give,
What you surrender.”
I looked into his radiant eyes and saw the whole universe
Reflected by the cadence of pure love, pure compassion,
Like sunlight channeled through a diamond.
I asked, “How can I attain this?”
He whispered, “Seed’s end is tree’s beginning.”
Then I touched his wing, we flew, and he took me to Mt. Everest
And asked, “What’s the use of the top
If you are shivering cold and all alone?
What’s the world if you lose your soul?”
Asked the Dove Christ, gently weeping.
Then we transported to a garden,
Luscious with the musk of dew dripped flowers fruits and plants
And the olive branch in my hand
Transformed into a planet and I heard,
“The one is for the all, and giving’s its own reward.”
Then the dove redeemer flew into my mouth
And I was flooded with peace, inexpressible, boundless.
I saw all things as he does, as waves of holy stillness
Dreams of flowing suchness, as himself.
And I vowed to speak a message to the nations
An echo of the prophets, whose words and deeds are known,
A pleading to the leaders of mankind
To look into the faces of the innocent children
And weep with repentance.
To proclaim that love alone is real
That all else is a fleeting made illusion
Hindering the joy, swept away like a hidden key,
From unlocking the treasure chest within thee,
From opening your eyes.

Earth spins round the sun, you see?
Sun spins round the galaxy
And galaxies spin round each other
Like ducklings behind the mother.
Yet you offer endless whines
To fit them into straight lines,
Boxing life into a fence,
But when did the universe make sense?
Oh, clay, just submit to the Potter
You will find that everything
Will craft itself into perfection
And that this resurrection
Will dissolve the preconceptions
Of your rational brain
And you will find that you ever wanted
Was to go insane.
At the threshold of the zero
The admission is your greed.
There’s a password, there’s a riddle
You must whisper to proceed.
What if the One who made your plans
Is a pixel dream man
And everything you’ve thought or seen
Was playing out upon a screen
And you’d be free only when
This question sets your bones ablaze:
“Who’s the One watching the show
And causing the projector to play?”
In the garden there are cherubim
With their fiery swords
You must meet.
But when He came with only pure love
They bowed down at his feet.
And they set Him a table and placed a crown upon His head,
And they gave Him a scepter to judge the living and the dead.
They anointed Him with oil and in power He rose above
Every hindrance and toil into everlasting love.
And they set me a table and placed a crown upon my head,
And they gave me a scepter to judge the living and the dead.
They anointed me with oil and in power I rose above
Every hindrance and toil into everlasting love.
At the threshold of the zero
The admission is your greed.

A man lives 100 days at a time
To the heart routine is a life of crime
To the world a million years is a dime
And, darling, I’m doing fine.
A dream takes decades of life to unwind
But comes in a flash to the screen of the mind
And then you’re shot down however high you climb
But, darling , it’s all alright.
Cause a dream to a man to the world is a joke
That comes apart like a fresh ring of smoke
Or a king that drowns in his own mote
But, darling, that’s what she wrote!
And the ways of the world are the ways of the wheel
That turn despite the way we feel
In the end we all submit to the Real
And, darling, it makes me kneel
When I can hear the Autumn call
This boisterous leaf I love will someday fall
Every leaf it will pollute, except for one, the deathless root,
And, darling, ain’t that a hoot?
The ways of the mind to the ways of the soul
Are like a racehorse that gets stuck in a hole
Or an infant stolen by a 100 foot troll
Cause, darling, they’re so damn cold.
And the fears of the rich are the boons of the mensch
Who lives his life with his fists unclenched
Who knows this body is just his tent
And, darling, there aint no rent!
And the forests outlast the towers of steel
Because they know how best to yield
I’ve learned my greatest enemy is my own shield
But darling, I’m getting healed
From the twisted, hopeless ways of the proud
That make them float high above the crowd.
The wise cut through em’ like a plane through a cloud
And, darling, they laugh out loud!
When they can hear the springtime call
New dreams will sprout so fast and tall
But a day will come when they cease to burn
And the owl will say wide eyed, “He’s finally learned.”
But darling, I’ll get my turn!
And I can hear the winter sing
Of the hidden joy its loss, to us, can bring.
For in its barrenness there’s wealth
And new life contained within itself
But, darling, its got to be felt.
A man lives 100 days at a time
The heart puts 1000 lives on the line
And it keeps telling me I’m falling behind
But, darling, I’ll take my time
And, darling, I’m doing fine.
