about

In the book of Revelation John has an elaborate vision that is symbolic of spiritual realities. At one point he sees 24 elders sitting around the throne of God, where the lamb and God Himself are seated. The elders are in a perpetual state of ecstasy and sing praises to God without ceasing. To me, they represent wisdom. The highest wisdom in the universe is to praise the unsurpassable greatness of God and to bask in His/Her glorious perfection. All else is just a temporary illusion; for if we truly understood the reality of God and our Oneness with Him we would worship Him with the totality of our being and be consumed by nothing else.

lyrics

Shoveling snow in an avalanche
Death follows birth
There is nothing worth my time.

Spirit is beyond times flaws.
No death, no birth
Greater than the pleasures of the earth.

We’re lovers that rest and flirt
On a bed that contains the universe.

And we dance on the dance floor of my soul, of my soul!
And we dance on the dance floor of my soul!

Linger in Samadhi I perceive nothing but, nothing but thee.
Linger in Your presence I perceive nothing but, nothing but me,

Nothing but me.

And I see 24 elders fall on their faces
Singing praise to the glory of the lamb.
24 elders sitting in a circle
lost in the bliss of the great I Am.

24 elders fall on their faces
Singing praise to the glory of the lamb.
24 elders sitting in a circle
lost in the bliss of the Cosmic Man

Go deeper until you become Him.
Go deeper until He reveals them.
Go deeper until He becomes you.
Go deeper until you break through.

(Chorus)
